Nelwanda “Pixie” Holton Wooten, age 64, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton GA. Mrs. Wooten, a native of Coffee County, GA was born March 23, 1946; she is the Daughter of the late Denton Eugene, Sr. and Ruby Spivey Holton and she was the widow of the late Billy Wooten. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at the West Ward Street Church of God, Douglas GA with Burial to follow in the Douglas Gospel Assembly Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Sims Funeral Home Today and Tomorrow; calling hours are 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Survivors include: Daughter, Linda (Walt) Bryan, Douglas GA and Son, William “Mack” Wooten, II. Douglas GA, Brothers: Melvin Clark (Sandy) Holton, Marietta GA and Denton Eugene, Jr. (Inga) Holton, Douglas GA, Sisters: Deloris LaHaie, Lithia Springs GA, Cynthia (WR) Lott, Douglas GA, Linda (Hugh) Haddock, Hilliard FL and Six Grandchildren.
