Judith A. O'Connor, 64 of Derry, NH, died Friday, January 2, 2004 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. Mrs. O'Connor was born in Sandy Township, Ohio on March 18, 1939, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Hoffman) Fliger. She was a resident of Derry for the past 17 years, formerly living in Canton, Ohio. She was a graduate of Canton South High School, Class of 1957 and had attended Akron University in Akron, Ohio. She was employed by EKCO Housewares in Canton, Ohio from 1963 - 1985 and was more recently employed as a bus monitor for the Special Transit Service for 12 years, retiring in 2000. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn D. O'Connor of Derry, one son, Michael L. Fliger and his wife Pam of Londonderry, NH, one granddaughter, Amy Fliger of Londonderry, four brothers, Kenneth Fliger of Navarre, OH, Richard Fliger of Canton, OH, James Fliger of Bolivar, OH, Robert Fliger of Hartsville, OH, two sisters, Geraldine Thompson of E. Sparta, OH, Mary Lambert of Sterling Heights, MI, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 2 - 4 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial will be in the Northlawn Cemetery in Canton, Ohio under the direction of the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in Canton.
