ZERVESKES, FRANCES AMELIA of South Boston At age 91 died peacefully at compass by the Bay assisted living in South Boston. She is the daughter of the late Frank and Julia (Kacinsky) Platkas. She is the wife of the late Vincent A. Zerveskes. Her brother was the late Victor Waitaitis. After her children were grown she not only was a devoted wife and homemaker, she was employed by the FBI until retirement. She is survived by a son Vincent and wife Sharon E. Zerveskes, daughter Judith A. Powers, 4 grandchildren,
Timothy V. Connor and wife Andra Connor of Peoria, IL, The Late Scott W. Connor, Lisa F. Beck and
husband Christopher Beck of Auburn AL, Daryl F. Zerveskes and wife Lydia Zerveskes of Canterbury NH,
Troy V. Zerveskes and wife Kelly Zerveskes of Newmarket, NH 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews. She was dearly loved by so many. She was a nurturer. Anyone that knew her has special
memories. She never admitted to getting beyond the age of 39. Her energy was unsurpassable. Never too
tired to be were the action was. She was a fashion statement for the Red Hatters and an active member of
Sodality at St. Peter Lithuanian Church. She volunteered in the community. Wherever she was needed she
was there family or otherwise. Visiting hours will be held at The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester
Street, South Boston Sunday Jan 23 from 4-8 P.M. a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St Peter
Lithuanian Church Monday at 10 A.M. Interment New Calvary Cemetery. In Lieu of flower's donations may be
made to Alzeimer's Assoc, 311 Arsenal St, Watertown, MA 02422.
