AMES Joseph P. Age 68 of Harwichport formerly of Dedham entered into rest on January 18, 2011. Son of the late Charles and Cevelia Ames of Dedham. Beloved husband of Elaine (Settino) Ames for 47 years.
Devoted father to son, Joseph and his wife Diane of Foxboro, and to his daughter Leslie (Ames) and her husband Michael Shapiro of North Attleboro.
Dear brother to Edith (Ames) Belanger of Dedham. He was “Papa” to his seven grandchildren Tyler, Morgan, Jack and Michaela Ames and Emma, Rebecca and Audrey Shapiro.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home 456 High St. DEDHAM Saturday at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 9AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Friday from 4-8PM. Interment private.
