Isaak, Liebmann, 86, of East Boston passed away on January 15, 2011. Liebmann was born in Germany and was a survivor of the Holocaust. After leaving Germany, Liebmann resided in Argentina for many years. He has resided in East Boston for over 20 years. He was a typesetter for the Boston Herald. Liebmann was a member of Congregation Agudas Achim-Ezrath Israel in Malden. He enjoyed theater, music, dancing and walks along the beach.
Liebmann was the devoted father of Liliana Isaak-Snyder and her husband Thomas, and Virginia Isaak. He was the dear brother of Luis Isaak, Herbert Isaak and Jose Isaak. He was the loving grandfather of Nicholas Isaak Snyder. Liebmann was a loved friend to many people. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at the Maple Hill Cemetery, 98 Canterbury Dr. Peabody, Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
