Lauretta (DiPadova) MacDonald, 89,

…of Tewksbury, Golden Age Club Member…

TEWKSBURY: Lauretta (DiPadova) MacDonald, age 89, died Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at the Winchester Hospital.

She was the widow of William E. MacDonald who died in 1987.

Born in Boston on January 21, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Frances (Frasca) DiPadova.

She attended Boston schools and later graduated from Chelsea High School.

Mrs. MacDonald was a resident of Tewksbury for the past 36 years and was a communicant of St. William’s Church.

She was active at the Tewksbury Senior Drop In Center and Golden Age Club. Mrs. MacDonald enjoyed traveling on numerous day trips offered by the Senior Center. Her hobbies included crotchet.

She is survived by her children; Frances E. Beattie and her husband David of Tewksbury and John MacDonald of Grafton; her grandchildren; John Beattie of Lowell and David Beattie and his wife Dawn of Lowell; her great grandchildren; Caitlin and Kathleen Beattie.

Mrs. MacDonald was the sister of the late Felicia Webster, Joseph, Ralph and Louis DiPadova.

Calling hours Sunday, Jan. 4th from 5-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by graveside services at 10:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
