Gladys (DeRousselle) Mello, 82, of Marion, formerly of New Bedford died December 24th, 2003 at Sippican Healthcare Center.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Mello, and daugther of the late Felix and Agnes (Radcliff) DeRousselle.
Mrs. Mello was born in Dartmouth and had lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in South Dartmouth.
Mrs. Mello was formerly employed as an office worker at Madewell Manufacturing Company and the New Bedford Fire Department.
Mrs. Mello was a member of Dartmouth Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a daughter, Deidre Charves and her husband Richard, of Fairhaven; and 2 grandchildren, Derek Chaves and Ryan Chaves.
Her private Funeral Mass was celebrated yesterday in St. Mary's Church, South Dartmouth followed by burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
