Obituary

Charles W. Emanuelli 78, of Natick died Monday January 10, 2011 at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.
He was the beloved husband of Claire E. (Sullivan) Emanuelli with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.
Born in Natick and a lifelong resident he was the son of the late Charles and Josephine (Della Bianca) Emanuelli.
Mr. Emanuelli was an electrician for 53 years as a member of the IBEW Union Local #103.
He was dedicated to service in the town he loved and was involved for many years in Natick civic and political activities: member of the Natick Board of Assessors for 12 years, member of the Natick Conservation Committee, Town Meeting Member, Lookout Farm Board of Trustees, member of the Natick Housing Authority, Life member of the Natick Elks, American Legion Post , Knights of Columbus, Natick “T” Club, Framingham Columbus Society, member of the former Sacred Heart Church and its Holy Name Society and coached in the Natick Comets Hockey program.
Mr. Emanuelli served in the United States Army and the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
He attended the Natick School system and graduated from Natick High School Class of 1950.
Charlie also enjoyed gardening, but most important was the time he spent with his family. Known for his great sense of humor, and outgoing personality, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife he is survived by six children, Charles W. Emanuelli Jr. and his wife Marcy of Bamberg SC, Joseph F. Emanuelli and his wife Mary of Mt Claire NJ, John A. Emanuelli and his wife Margaret of Knoxville TN,Donna M. Emanuelli of Medway, Lisa C. Emanuelli of Natick, Diane M. Bryan and her husband John of Lumberton NC, one sister Lydia Buchner of Natick, eight grandchildren Emily, Josephine, Kathleen, Peter, Christine, Kalen, Morgan, a baby girl born on 1/14/11, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday January 19, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in Most Precious Blood Church 30 Centre Street, Dover. Burial will follow in St Patrick Cemetery Natick.
Visiting hours at the funeral home are Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in Charlie’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
