Eric J. Polaski, 64, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on January 14th, 2011. He was born on July 11th, 1946 to his parents Louis and Natalie (Andersen) Polaski. He was the beloved husband of Patricia E. (Griffin) Polaski; the loving father of Keith and Diane Polaski of Duxbury, Gregory and Cecilia Polaski of Morristown, New Jersey and Nicole Polaski and Judy Mencher of Boston. He was the loving grandfather of Emma, Tom and Ben and the dear brother of Elaine J. Polaski of Plymouth. Eric is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Eric was a devoted and loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Among his many interests were hockey and sailing. He was an original board member of Medford Recreational Hockey in the early 1970’s and an avid fan and supporter of the game for over 40 years. In later years, Eric’s passion was sailing on his beloved boat the Erica J. He was a member of Shipyard Quarters Marina, Charlestown, MA.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Tuesday January 18th at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday January 17th from 4-8 PM.
