Marie Apice, 93, of Cherry Hill Road, Johnston, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the daughter of the late James and Rose (Thomas) Apice.
Ms. Apice had been an executive chef for the former NE Telephone and Telegraph before retiring. She had previously lived in Seminole, Florida where she resided for thirty five years before moving back to Johnston.
She was the sister of the late Flora Broley and Virginia Apice, who died November 29, 2010.
Her funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 11:30am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Tuesday 10:30 - 11:30am. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to RI Food Bank, 200 Niantic Avenue, Providence, Ri 02907.
