TAUNTON – Katherine C. “Katie” Ouellette, loving daughter of Raymond and Gail (Corey) Ouellette, died unexpectedly at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston on January 9, 2011.
She was 21.
Born in Fall River, Katie grew up in Taunton and graduated from Taunton High School in 2007.
With a love for hairstyling, Katie pursued her dreams, graduating from Taunton’s Rob Roy Academy in 2009.
A registered class one hairstylist, she was employed by Supercuts of Mansfield for the past two years.
She enjoyed music and singing and was furthering her vocal skills at Eastern Music in Taunton.
She was loved by all and will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.
Besides her parents of Taunton, Katie leaves her cousin/sister, Sarah Ruda of Taunton; her maternal grandmother, Agnes Corey of Taunton; the love of her life, Bella, her pet Maltese; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends.
She was also the granddaughter of the late Roger and Cecile (Violette) Ouellette, and the late Robert Corey.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway at St. Mary's Square, Taunton on Saturday Jan. 15th at 10 a.m.
Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Jan 14th from 4 to 7 p.m.
