James Cullom (Jimmy) Frey, Jr., 67, Clarksville, died Monday, January 10, 2011, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 PM Saturday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Masonic Lodge #89 officiating. Burial will be in Dunbar Cemetery With Brother Artist Waynick officiating. Visitation will be from 9 AM until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Jimmy was born on November 14, 1943 in Clarksville to the late James Cullom Frey and Hazel Olivia Tyson Frey. He was owner and operator of Frey's Engine Rebuild for 30 years. He was a lifetime member of The Conservation Club. He was also a past master of the Clarksville Masonic Lodge #89 and member of the ERA. Survivors include his companion and wife of 23 years; Jo Wright-Frey of Clarksville, a daughter; Jamie Lynn Frey of Clarksville, a sister; Ruth White of Clarksville, and a grandchild; Dalton Allen Reda of Clarksville. Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Black, Andrew Manners, Derrick Fowler, Bobby Seay, Chris Seay, Dalton Reda, Jerry Harrison, and Junior Wilkins. Honorary pallbearer will be Boots Streetman.
