Obituary

SALEM- Paul A. Ayube, 50, of Salem, formerly of Boston, died Monday morning, December 29, 2003 at his home following a long illness.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Clementina (Foti) Ayube. He was a graduate of Boston English High School in 1971 and lived in the South End of Boston until moving to Salem in 1992.

Mr. Ayube was employed for over 20 years by Blue Cross Blue Shield in Boston and was a senior project manager.

He is survived by two brothers, James A. and his wife Christina Ayube of Salem, Kenneth J. Ayube of Melrose, five nieces and nephews, two aunts, one uncle and several cousins. He was the brother of the late Edward M. Ayube.

His funeral service will be held Friday, January 2, 2004 at 9:30 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 am at St James Church, 156 Federal Street, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Thursday afternoon, January 1, from 3 to 5 pm. Burial is in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
