Marie R. Arsenault, 90, died Saturday at Cortland Place, Greenville. She was the widow of Eli J. Arsenault.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Augusta (Pescosolido) Calcagni. She had been a resident of Greenville since 1968. She had previously lived in Providence.
She had worked for ARA Food Service at the snack bar at Bryant University for many years. She was a member of the DAV, Almeida Hines, Chapter 22 in Cumberland.
She is survived by two sons, Richard J. Arsenault and his wife, Nancy and David J. Arsenault and his wife Mary, both of Chepachet, five grandchildren, a great grandson, and her siblings:
Angelo Calcagni, Filomena Campanelli, Anna Russo, and Theresa Hendricks. She was the sister of the late Livia Simonelli and Gennaro and Louise Calcagni and Eda Hayden.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 12:30pm from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 11:30am – 12:30pm.
