Barbara Gaye (Baima) Leary died suddenly on December 23, 2003 at her Medford residence. She was 55 years old.Mrs. Leary was born in Boston on September 7, 1948 a daughter of Frances J. (Paganini) Baima of Jackson, New Hampshire and the late Charles J. Baima.Barbara was a lifelong resident of Medford and a communicant of St. Raphael Parish. Well known to the community, Barbara was very active in the Mystic Players (Medford Community Theatre) and the P.T.O. at the Andrews School. Barbara was a loving wife to her husband Joseph, wonderful mother to her beloved “Jake”, a devoted daughter, and a dear friend to many. She was full of life and energy as most can recall; and was in place and ready to help anyone in her path. Barbara always reached out with a wonderful smile, a loving touch or perhaps a warm comment. She will not be forgotten to those she lives she has touched, especially her beloved son “Jake”. Barbara leaves her cherished husband Joseph M. “Joe” Leary of Medford, her beloved son, Joseph K. “Jake” Leary of Medford and her devoted mother, Frances J. (Paganini) Baima of Jackson, N.H. She was the loving sister of Charles and his wife Jennifer Baima of Wilmington and Lawrence Baima and his partner Leslie Fletcher, both of Jackson, N.H.Funeral from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Raphael’s Church, 514 High Street, Medford, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
