Mary (DeAngelo) Taddeo, of Medford, died at home Thursday in the company of her loving family, after a brief illness. She was 88.
A life-long Medford resident, Mary was the daughter of the late Saverio and the late Alessandra (Scioli) DeAngelo. Mary was devoted to her family and loved to be in the company of family and friends. She enjoyed good times socializing, dancing and caring for her grandchildren.
The beloved wife of the late Frank V. Taddeo, she leaves her son, Nick Taddeo and his wife Eleanor of Medford. She also leaves her loving grandchildren: Frank J. Taddeo, Sandra Ziegler and her husband Scott, Jason Taddeo all of Medford, Nicholas Amatangelo of Holbrook and the late Nicholas Taddeo, Jr. She was a loving great-grandmother to Shawn Ziegler and his wife Amanda, Alessandra, Justin and Zackary Ziegler all of Medford. She was a loving great-great-grandmother to Sophia, Alaina and Olivia Ziegler and dear sister of Lucille Oliveto of North Andover, the late Anna Chaganis, Margaret Schena and Rose LaQuaglia.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, January 11th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 7 - 9 PM and Monday 2 - 4 & 7 – 9 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
