Florence (Garrighan) Arruda, age 93, passed away Jan. 7, 2011 in Fall River. She was the wife of the late Joseph Arruda and the daughter of the late Austin & Rose A. (Richard) Garrighan. Prior to retiring, Florence was a Sewing Machine Operator for Various Garment Manufacturers.
Florence was the mother of Joseph Arruda Jr. (wife Ellie) of Fall River, grandmother of Jodi Storch and Susan Arruda, great grandmother of Dylan, Haley, & Jack Storch, and the sister of the late Rita Morris.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend Florence’s Funeral Mass on MONDAY at 10:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Church. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours SUNDAY 2-5 P.M. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA.
