Obituary

Mary (DeLucia) Angeloro, 94, of North Andover, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2011 at the Nevins Nursing Home in Methuen.
Mary was born in Manhattan and raised and educated in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to North Andover in 1942, where she raised her family. Mary worked for many years at the Borden Chemical Company. She was later employed with Merrimack College where she worked as a cook at the monastery. She retired in 1991. In her free time Mary enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and her cat.
She is predeceased by her husband, Ferdnand “Fred” Angeloro and 9 siblings. She leaves her loving children, Thomas and his wife Jean of Concord, NH, Patricia and her husband Robert Marr of Monroe, NY, Michael and his wife Teresa of Niceville, FL and Deborah Hamel and her partner Daniel Hamel of Methuen, 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Patricia and Matthew Hamel, Seth and Sabra Angeloro, Christina and Michelle Angeloro and Pamela Schiller and Deborah Hendrien, two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Mikayla and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Nevins Nursing Home for the loving and compassionate care shown to their dear mother throughout the years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nevin’s Nursing Home Employee Activity Fund, Ten Ingalls Court, Methuen, MA 01844. At the request of the family, services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dewhirst Funeral Home, Methuen. A Memorial Mass in Mary’s honor will be held at a later date.
