Charles J. Fuller, of North Reading passed away peacefully on January 2nd following a short illness. He was 69. Born in Wilmington he was the son of the late George W. Fuller Sr. and Mary L. (Pupkis).
Charles was a retired foreman and worked for many years at the Kirkwood Printing Co. of Wilmington and the former Packett Research Co. of Andover. Charles loved spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and golfing and most of all he enjoyed a good cookout with his family and sitting by a campfire. Charles was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed following all the local professional teams. In more recent years he also enjoyed following NASCAR. Charles was very active at the North Reading Senior Center where he enjoyed playing cards and being with friends.
In addition to his late parents, Charles is predeceased by his brothers, the late Ronald Fuller and George Fuller Jr. He is survived by his former wife, Judith (Kenney) Fuller. He is also survived by his children, Cheryl O'Shea and her husband Timothy of Londonderry, NH, Cynthia Normandy and her husband Robert of Merrimack, NH, Charlene Gaffney and her husband Richard of Lowell, Charles Fuller Jr. and his wife Cherie of Londonderry, NH. He is also survived by his loving and cherished grandchildren, Megan and Cari O'Shea, Sarah and Heather Normandy, Alexandra and Nicholas Fuller, Kirstie Gaffney, Drew and Brady Fuller.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., WILMINGTON, Thursday, January 6th, at 12 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Charles’ memory to the New Hampshire Special Olympics, c/o Londonderry Special Forces, 650 Elm St., Manchester, NH 03101.
