NERVI, Arthur J. age 85 of Tuckerton, NJ - formerly of Washington Township, NJ died peacefully and surrounded by his loving family on January 1, 2011. He was born in Manhattan, NY of Antonio and Angelina Nervi, and is survived by his beloved wife Emily (nee: Sciacchetano), sister Alma Serventi, loving daughters Donna Ten Hoeve and Angela Bianchi, and grandson John Ten Hoeve. Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Army, participating in multiple battle campaigns in the Pacific Theatre of World War II. After the war, he worked in the garment industry for 40 years before enjoying a 23 year retirement in southern New Jersey. Arthur was best known for his lively spirit and sense of humor, and could captivate anyone with his life stories. He will be remembered and missed by many friends and family members. All are invited for visitation at the Volk Leber Funeral Home at 268 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, NJ on Wednesday January 5th from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 6th at the Volk Leber Funeral Home at 11 AM followed by a burial service at the Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ
