WORCESTER-Mary E. (Callahan) Jackson Doucette, 100, died Sat., Jan. 1 in the Lutheran Home.
Her husband of 42 years, Alfred A. Doucette died in 2005. She leaves two sons, Paul F. Jackson and his wife Linda of Florida and Michael D. Jackson and his wife Penny of Worcester; two daughters, Sandra Lee Doucette of San Francisco, CA and Karen Ann Doucette of Arroyo Grande, CA; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. a son James T. Jackson, two sisters, Catherine E. McGurl and Ellen Callahan and two brothers, William and Francis Callahan predeceased her. She was born Jan. 23, 1910 in Sugar Notch, PA daughter of Thomas and Bridgett (Cuff) Callahan and moved to Worcester as a child and lived here all her life.
Mary worked at Heald Machine Company in the cafeteria for many years, before retiring. She lived a full and happy life and thoroughly enjoyed her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
The Jackson and Doucette family wishes to thank the staff at the Lutheran Home for the excellent care they provided for Mary.
The Funeral will be held Wednesday, January 5, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 11 AM in St. John's Church, 40 Temple St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery.
