Elizabeth Estock, 92, of Sturges, died Thursday morning at Lackawanna Health Care Center, Blakely. Her husband, Stephen Estock, died March 10, 1968.
Born in Mount Pleasant, daughter of the late Frank and Mary Zahradnick Zelenak, she was a very active member of the former Holy Ghost Church, Olyphant, and a member of the Christian Mothers and choir. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her friends. She also enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends, especially around the holidays. The family would like to thank the staff of C2 at Lackawanna Health Care Center for its kindness and good care.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Ann Zipay, Sturges; a sister, Mary Rogacki; two brothers, Larry and Charles Zelenak; four grandchildren, Bernard Zipay and wife, Kathy; Gary Zipay and wife, Linda; Joanne Flemming and husband, Steve; and Jeffrey Zipay; six great-grandchildren, Nicole Borusiewicz and husband, David; Tyler Zipay, Lauren and Stephen Flemming; Brianna and Michael Zipay; and a great-great-grandson, Luke Borusiewicz.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Frank, Edward and Elmer Selenak.
Funeral services will be Tuesday from the Michael P. Glinsky Funeral Home Inc., 129 Grant St., Olyphant, with Mass at 9:30 in Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church, Olyphant. Interment will be in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Olyphant.
