Taunton – Patricia Arruda, a life long Taunton resident, died December 30, 2010 at Morton Hospital Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was 81 years of age. She was born in Taunton, Ma. Daughter of the late Louis Arruda and the late Marion (Rezendes) Arruda. She was educated in Taunton schools. She worked at Mansfield Chocolate Company. She attended St. Josephs Church. In her spare time she like to knit. She is survived by five sisters, Helen Arruda of Taunton, Ms. (Albert) Louise Beaulieu of Fall River, Ms. (Alfred) Angie Pierson of Providence, RI, Madeline Frates of Taunton and Alice Brady of Taunton. She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Arruda and Antone Arruda. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. At Ms. Arruda’s request her funeral services will be private.
