Lillian Estelle Sumner Fletcher, 77, of Tifton died Friday, December 31, 2010, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Billy Sumner will officiate with burial to follow in Lawrence Cemetery. Buddy Fletcher, Ralph Fletcher, David Fletcher, J. C. Hall, Jason Hall and Brian Curp will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 3, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Fuenerals.
Mrs. Fletcher was born on September 30, 1933 in Tift County and was the daughter of Tommy Sumner and Rinnie Thompson Sumner, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Sara Francis Sumner. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her husband, Earl Fletcher of Tifton; five sons and three daughters-in-law, Joseph Cecil Hall of Tifton, David Fletcher of California, Howard Jr. and Lynn Fletcher of Tifton, Alen and Greta Fletcher of Florida and Ralph and Angie Fletcher of Tifton; one daughter, Cynthia Fletcher of Tifton; one brother, Rev. Billy Sumner of Tifton; two sisters, Peggy Busbin of Tifton and Millie Jo Franks of Covington; ten grandchildren, Jason Hall, Ashli Fletcher, Krysti Fletcher, Brian Curp, Kim Perry, Beth Rivers, Joey Sellars, Kayla Brooks, Eric Shealey and Allyson Fussell; and 15 great-grandchildren.
