Eileen (O’Connell) Nolet, age 50, passed away at the St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford on Friday December 31, 2010. Cookie was the loving mother of Frank Nolet Jr. of New Bedford, Scott Nolet of Marshfield, Christopher Nolet of Quincy, William Keaney of Quincy and Kerri Keaney of Quincy and is the devoted grandmother of Casey, Shannon, Caitlin, Michael, Gabriella, Christopher and Corey. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Marie King of Norton, Lorraine Peacock of Randolph, John O’Connell of Norton, Helen O’Connell of Braintree, Catherine Healey of Weymouth, Deanna Hilliard of Braintree, Alice Kelly of Braintree, Rita Knecht of Randolph, Lawrence O’Connell of Taunton, Michael O’Connell of Randolph and Norman O’Connell of Brockton and many nieces and nephews. She was the longtime companion of Michael “Patches” Patch. Eileen is predeceased by her parents, John and Marie (Blanchard) O’Connell. She was born and grew up in South Boston and lived in New Bedford for the last 10 years. A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday January 4 at 11 A.M. Visiting hours will be on Monday 6 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester.
