Peter J. Azevedo, 52, of Attleboro formerly of Easton passed away on Thursday December 30, 2010 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the husband of the late Debra (Yenulevich) Azevedo who died on September 27, 2010.
Born in Boston, MA on December 15, 1958 he was a dear son of Gertrude (Sears) Randall of Northport, Florida and the late Ralph Azevedo.
Peter grew up and was educated in Easton, and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School. A resident of Attleboro for the past 4 years, he had formerly lived in Easton for most of his life.
Mr. Azevedo had been employed as a laborer for TTT Concrete Forms for several years and had formerly worked at A-1 Concrete.
Peter was an avid outdoorsman . He especially enjoyed camping, sitting around an open campfire and spending time with his adoring family.
In addition to his dear mother, he is survived by his loving children Shane Azevedo of North Attleboro, Shannon Azevedo of Pawtucket, Lance Azevedo of North Attleboro and Arian Azevedo of Pawtucket. The Devoted brother of Ralph Azevedo of Plymouth, Marie Cashman and Laurie McCalluym both of Northport, Florida, Deborah Azevedo of Easton, Kathleen Azevedo of Avon and the late Carol Azevedo, Peter is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Ava Azevedo and Aiden Clark both of Pawtucket as well as several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Friday January 7th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Power St., Norton. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours are omitted and funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. Norton.
