TAYLOR, Robert L. "Bob", 71 passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Hosparus In-Patient Care Center Downtown.
He was born in Louisville, KY to Ernest W. and Elizabeth Carolyn (Shaw) Taylor.
Robert was retired from the Teamsters, was a former employee of Smith's Transfer and was the retired Owner/Operator of B & S Salvage Mart.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and a Brother.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years: Sharon M. (Murphy) Taylor; 3 Children: Cindy Teale (Fred), Pamela Willett (James) and Lisa Cissell (Frank). 6 Grandchildren: Jennifer Cantrell (Ray), Justin Cissell, Ashley Simms (Jason), Joshua Teale (Lisa), Taylor and Evan Willett. 6 Great Grandchildren: Austin, Jonathan, Ethan, Madison, Raelin and Annabelle. 2 Brothers; Donald and Richard (Bobbie) Taylor; 2 Sisters: Betty Fuller (Ron) and Sandra Krull (Kenneth).
Bob was an avid outdoorsman and a BIG Cardinal fan.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday January 3, 2011 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Sunday 2 - 8 pm.
