Lorna M. Farrar age 84 of Metamora formerly of Vermont and Florida, passed away at 8:30pm Wednesday Dec. 29, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. She was born April 18, 1926 in Lowell MA, to Dana L. and Reva L. (Sweet) Goodnow. She married Milton R. Farrar Oct. 18, 1946 in Chester, Vermont. He survives.
Surviving are her children, Pamela (Jimmie) Thomas of Eureka and David (Donna) Farrar of Essex Junction, Vermont. Grandchildren; Matt (Sue) Thomas, and Wendy and Nicole Thomas. Lorna is also survived by three siblings; Barbara Bradle of Eureka, Dana O. (Joanne) Goodnow of Tunbridge Vermont, and Patricia (Richard) Lafayette of Springfield, Vermont. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother Harold.
For many years Lorna worked as a Draftsman for National Survey.
Cremation rites will be accorded with burial of ashes in Olio Cemetery in Eureka at a later date. Memorials may be given to Snyder Village in Metamora. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
