Robert passed away on December 18, 2010 at the Milford Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with Primary Amyloidosis. He leaves behind his parents Sylvia and Colin Iliffe, his sister Sue Porto, niece Laura and nephews Harry and Archie, aunties, uncles and cousins.
Robert was born in Weymouth, Dorset in the United Kingdom and moved to the states with his job as a Chief Design Engineer for Speedline Technologies some twelve years ago. He loved living in Franklin and was proud of the wonderful life he built here.
Although his life was short he lived it to the full and touched the hearts of all who knew him. His many interests and hobbies included Para-gliding, flying and motorbikes through which he made many wonderful friends.
His funeral service will be held at Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin 131 Main St., Franklin on Thursday December 30. Anyone who knew Robert is welcome to attend at 1 p.m. for a gathering of friends followed by the service at 2 p.m.
