Obituary

Lloyd W. Kropilak Sr. of Stoneham passed away on Monday, December 27th, 2010 at Life Care Center in Stoneham. He was 61 years of age.

Born in Cambridge, Lloyd was the loving son of the late Victoria (Noseworthy) Kropilak. Lloyd was a warm and caring son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to those who knew him.

Lloyd was a die hard Patriots fan. He loved to make people laugh and lived life to the fullest. He loved spending time at his home and fishing in Old Orchard Beach. Lloyd was a very dedicated man who retired from the MBTA after 29 years. During the Vietnam War, Lloyd proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Navy.

Lloyd was the Beloved husband for 36 years of Mary E. (Shea) Kropilak. He was the devoted father of Lloyd W. Kropilak Jr. and his wife Meghan H. of Salem, Kerri Ann Kropilak and her companion Jason Manent of Wilmington. Lloyd was the cherished grandfather and best friend of Emma E. Manent. He was the dear brother of Robert Kropilak and his wife Jodi of Dracut, Stephen Kropilak and his companion Joe Gardner of S. Dennis and the late John Kropilak.

A Funeral Service celebrating Lloyd’s life will be held on Friday at 11am in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Thursday from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
