Mary (Lawrence) Oliveira, age 90, of Fall River passed away December 28, 2010. She was the wife of the late Jose C. Oliveira and the daughter of the late Manuel and Agnes (Castanho) Lawrence. Mary was a retired machine operator with Narry Mfg., Shelbourne Shirt Co. and Franconia Mfg., former President of the Cosmo Cupolo Senior Citizen Center, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Veterans of Somerset, and ILGWU. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and formerly St. Michael Church.
Mary was the mother of Robert Oliveira and Marilyn Oliveira both of Fall River, grandmother of Jennifer Foss (husband Lucas), great grandmother of Lilly Alyse Foss all of CO, sister of John Lawrence of Fall River, late Olivia Estrella, late George & Arthur Lawrence, aunt of Judith Tavares, Jane O’Melia, Richard Estrella, Steven Lawrence, & several other nieces & nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St., Fall River MONDAY AT 9:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours SUNDAY 4-8 P.M.
