Obituary

FRAMINGHAM/NATICK: Jane (Clinton) Trumpis, 72, died peacefully on Sunday, December 26, 2010 following a period of declining health.
She was born in Boston on January 18, 1938 the daughter of the late Mark H. Clinton and Dorothy (Madden) Clinton.
Jane was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. “Tony” Trumpis who died in September of 2007. She was the devoted mother of Todd A. Trumpis and his wife Jean of Westborough and Lee-Ruth Robinson and her husband Brad of Fayetteville, N.C. She was the cherished grandmother of Doug Robinson, Derek Robinson, Jacob Robinson, Joey Robinson all of Fayetteville, N.C. and Dylan Trumpis and Austin Trumpis both of Westborough. Jane is also survived by her sister Faith Cote of Watertown.
Jane has been a resident of Framingham for the past several years and previously resided in Natick for over 40 years. She spent her formative years in Brighton and was a graduate of St. Columbkille High School. She received her BS in Education from the Boston Teachers College and her Masters in Education from Northeastern University. She retired as the Principal for 14 years at St. Anne’s Parochial School in Readville. Jane was a longtime communicant of St. Zepherin’s Church in Cochituate and was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed spending time on the Cape with her family.
Visitations will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm in the Bryant Memorial Chapel of the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Route 30), Cochituate.
Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 9:00 am followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Zepherin’s Church, 99 Main St, (Rte 27), Cochituate.
