Frances E. (LeBelle) Joyce, 82, died Monday morning, December 27, 2010. She was the loving wife of the late Robert J. Joyce, with whom she shared nearly sixty years of marriage.
Born in Portland, Maine on Dec. 6, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Beatrice (Wright) LeBelle. She was raised and educated in Danvers and attended Holten High School.
Mrs. Joyce was employed as a nurse’s aide at the former Hunt Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother, and a faithful companion to her dog Abigail.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda Casali and her husband John of Danvers, Kathleen Joyce of Exeter, NH, and Barbara Farese and her husband William of Danvers, a sister, Norma Rideout of CT, 15 grandchildren, Jason and Robert Mills, Debra Houde, Robert, Paula, John, Joseph, and James Joyce, John Casali II, Christine Hudson, Michael, Daniel, and Rachel Farese, and Sarah and Michael Bernard, two daughters-in-law, Joan and Pamela Joyce, and a son-in-law, Gerald Mills. She also leaves many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and Billie Iovine, whom she loved as a special adoptive daughter. She was predeceased by three children, Carolyn Mills, Robert Joyce, Jr., and Daniel Joyce, her son-in-law, Paul Bernard, and her sisters Mildred Speliotis and Janet Ernest.
Her Funeral Service will be Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at 10AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4-8PM in the funeral home.
