WILCOX, BERT N., JR., 63, passed away December 25, 2010.
He was a retired Louisville Metro police officer with 21 years of service, a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, served with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Dept., was a member of Valley Masonic Lodge #511, a member of the F.O.P., a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Rockford View United Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bert N. Wilcox Sr. and his mother, Violet (Fulkerson) Wilcox; and his sister, Terry Underwood.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda (Vincent) Wilcox; his children, Tina Marie Villegas (Bill), Jeffrey Neal Wilcox (Celeste) and Beth Renee Siler; grandchildren, Meredith R. Koebel, Sabrina Villegas, Nolan Siler, and Cole Villegas; brothers, Billy Sr., (Libby), Kent (Rhonda) and Kelly Wilcox (Michelle); sisters, Cheryl Wagner (Lee) and Lisa Stevens (Aaron); and 14 nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 29,2010 at noon at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be Tuesday December 28, 2010 from 1-8 p.m. and Wednesday after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
