Jarvis of Brockton Dec. 26, 2003 Linda M. (Curtis) Jarvis 57 years. Loving wife of Robert A. Jarvis. Devoted mother of Stephanie A. Baker and her husband Jason of Brockton and Gregory R. Jarvis and his wife Lucy of Easton. Loving grandmother of Amanda, Chelsie, Michayla and Justin Baker and Ronan and Jack Jarvis. Sister of Robbi Doherty, Dr. Jean Loud and Robert E. Curtis, III.

Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Mary at Stonehill College 321 Washington St., Easton, MA 02334 Monday at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visiting hours in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Sunday 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Linda’s memory may be made to American Lung Association (designate for lung cancer research) 1 Abby Ln., Middleboro, MA 02346 or the Rev. William F. Obituary

Mrs. Jarvis died Friday morning at her home surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was born in Boston daughter of the late Robert E. Curtis, Jr. and Mary A. (Molla) Curtis. She has been a resident of Brockton since 1992 and previously lived in Hingham.

Mrs. Jarvis was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Roxbury Class of 1964 and the Wyndahm Academy/Finishing School in Boston.Prior to her illness Mrs. Jarvis was an administrator at DeWolfe Realty, Canton office.

Mrs. Jarvis was a renaissance woman. She was an accomplished photographer who specialized in black and white. She had been a photographer for local newspapers including the Hingham Journal and Mariner Newspapers. She also designed and worked with stained glass and miniature dollhouses. At one time she was co-owner of a crafts store in Hingham, For Kids of All Ages. She also enjoyed knitting and needlepoint.

The highlight of Mrs. Jarvis’ life was being a grandmother.

She was a communicant of St. Margaret Church and is survived by her husband, a daughter, a son and 6 grandchildren (as above)She also leaves 2 sisters, a brother and many nieces and nephews.
