Alfred J. Tett, 86, formerly of Highland Lakes and Cliffside Park died on 12/24/10. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan Blank Tett, and proud and devoted father of Linda Masincup and her husband Paul of Bergenfield, NJ, Sharon Tett of Lithia Springs, Georgia; Kathleen Dellavia and her husband, the late Donald Dellavia of El Paso, Texas and Mark Tett and his wife Louisa of Wayne, NJ. He was the loving grandfather of Sandra Ille, Brian Masincup, Courtney Masincup, Donald Dellavia, Jr., Karen Mazzeo, Scott Dellavia, Adam Tett and Lauren Tett and adoring great-grandfather to Jonathan Heims and Charlotte Rose Mazzeo. He is survived by his brother William of Clearlake Oaks, California, sister Elsie Hunt of Denville, NJ, and predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and beloved companion, Gloria Visocki.
The family will receive their relatives and friends at Volk Leber Funeral Home on Tuesday December 28, 2010 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. The funeral Mass will be Wednesday December 29, 2010 at 11:30am, at St. Mary’s RC Church, Pompton Lakes, NJ. Interment will be on Thursday at 11 AM at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alfred’s name to Tomorrow’s Children Fund, or Holy Name Medical Center Foundation.
