NORTH OXFORD – Rene E. Malboeuf, 65, of 11 Thayer Pond Drive, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 23, in Umass Memorial Healthcare, 55 Lake Avenue North, Worcester.
He leaves a brother and sister-in-law, Emile H. and Roberta A. Malboeuf of Webster; several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was born in Webster, son of Emile A. And Jeanne D. (Lefevre) Malboeuf. He lived in Washington, DC, for 40 years, and moved here in 2002.
He was a Navy veteran, serving on submarines.
Mr. Malboeuf was the controller for General Offices in Washington before retiring in 2000.He leaves behind many friends there, who knew him as “Ray.” He will be sadly missed by his relatives and friends.
After cremation, a memorial Mass will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
