Knapp- in W.Bridgewater, formerly of New York, Dorothy M. (Littig), December 10,2003. Age 77 years.She was the loving wife of the late John Knapp. Daughter of the late Otto and Sadie (Burton) Littig. Beloved sister of Joan Cherry of Mashpee,MA, William O. Littig of Maynard,MA, Lawrence W. Littig of Willingboro,New Jersey and the late Helen L. Crandall of Florida. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in MA, Missouri, Florida, Utah and New Jersey. Funeral services were private and interment will be in New York at a later date.Funeral Arrangements entrusted to the Sheehan Funeral Home, Stoughton.

Dorothy Madeline (Littig) Knapp, of New York , passed away unexpectedly December 10,2003, at The LifeCare Center Of West Bridgewater. She was 77 years old.Beloved wife of the late John Knapp. She was the loving daughter of the late Mr. Otto Littig and Mrs. Sadie (Burton) Littig.

She was born March 7, 1926 in West Roxbury, Massachusetts.

She attended Public schools in both Boston and Watertown.

She was a member of the United States Naval Reserve.

She was a member of the Baptist Church in Roxbury,Massachusetts.

She became a Laboratory Specialist working in the film business for the former Ansco Film & Camera Co. of Binghamton,New York

She was a Homemaker, and loved her family very much.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and traveling.

She is survived by her sister: Joan Cherry of Mashpee,MA, two brothers: Lawrence W. Littig of Willingboro,New Jersey William O. Littig of Maynard,MA and many nieces and nephews in Massachusetts, Missouri, Utah, Florida and New Jersey. She was also the sister of the late Helen Crandall of Florida.

Funeral Services were private and interment will take place in New York at a later date.
