Leonard Fallin, 77, of Alapaha died Thursday, December 23, 2010, at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2010, at Alapaha Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Gibbs will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 26, 2010, from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Alapaha Baptist Church.
Mr. Fallin was born on August 12, 1933 in Thomas County and was the son of Alvin Fallin and Mattie Lou Adams Fallin, both deceased. He was a tile mason and a member of Alapaha Baptist Church. He had lived in Alapaha for 19 years.
Mr. Fallin is survived by his wife, Lorene Jenkins Fallin of Alapaha; two sons and daughters-in-law, Harry and Theresa Fallin of Tifton and Jack and Sandi Fallin of Tifton; three step-sons and their wives, Paul and Thelma Brown of Alapaha, Steve and Peggy Brown of Alapaha and Kenneth and Judy Brown of Ray City; two step daughters and their husbands, Brenda and Jimmy Thomas of Nashville and Zema and Joey Whitley of Ocilla; one brother, Wallace Fallin of Labelle, Florida; five sisters, Ruth Norton of Destin, Florida, Syble Thomas of Jackson, South Carolina, Pat Finch of Marianna, Florida, Margie Applewhite of Tifton and Edie Gregory of Naples, Florida; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
