Obituary

MANCHESTER– Aurea M. Adams, 90, died December 17, 2010 at Ridgewood Center following a brief illness.
She was born in Pembroke on October 27, 1920 the daughter of Adelard and Laura (Levasseur) Hardy and had been a lifelong resident of this community.
She had resided in Londonderry for many years and was a parishioner and member of St. Jude Parish Guild. In 1956 she moved to Manchester and held membership in the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Ladies Guild and choir, she also volunteered at the VA Hospital and Elliot Hospital. She belonged to the singing group the Sweet Adelines, and was a Caregivers Coordinator.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, especially knitting, sewing and crocheting
She was predeceased by her first husband Charles Rivett in 1946 and her second husband Herman M. Adams in 1983.
Members of her family include three daughters, Mrs. James (Elaine) Sause of Bel Air, MD., and Enfield, Dorothy Hendricks of Laconia, Mrs. Roland (Jacqueline) Nalette of Manchester, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, one brother Herve Hardy of Suncook, two sisters Estelle Laroche of Suncook, Beatrice Cate of FL., and several nieces and nephews.
IN HER LIFE: she was also predeceased by one brother Ernest Hardy and one sister Theresa Labonte.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at the J. N. Boufford & Suns Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Pius X Church., Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
