Gertrude S. (Fratus) Alberski, 89, of Dartmouth died Saturday December 18, 2010 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the wife of Joseph Alberski.
Born in Dartmouth, the daughter of the late Frank and Annie (Fahtol) Fratus, she lived in Dartmouth for most of her life.
Mrs. Alberski was formerly employed as a golf ball inspector at Acushnet Company for 36 years until her retirement.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Lynne Toth and her husband Clarence of Somerset; a sisters, Josephine Sylvia of Vernon, CT; a granddaughter, Andrea Couto; three great-grandchildren, James, Tara, and Austin; and several nieces.
She was the sister of the late Marguerite Sylvia, Elsie Brian, Millicent Arsenault, Mildred Fratus, Dorothy Fratus, Charles Fratus, and Francis Fratus.
Funeral Services will be private. Burial will be in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
