Evelyn H. Thompson Ouellette, 91, of Lawrence, passed away at her home on December 18th, 2010. Evelyn was the daughter of the late John and Emma Gallant Thompson. She was raised and educated in Lowell. After her marriage, she moved to Lawrence where she resided for the past 66 years. In the 80’s and 90’s she received pins for many volunteered hours the Lawrence General Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady’s Sodality of St. Patrick’s.
Evelyn is predeceased by her husband, Edward E. Ouellette and a son, Robert. She leaves her two daughters, Donna and Linda Ouellette, with whom she resided, daughters, Claire Muse of Lawrence, Ann Marie Hoover of Malden and a son, Joseph Ouellette and his wife Debra of Haverhill and 6 grandchildren.
Friends are invited to call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21 at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 9 am at St. Monica’s Church, Methuen. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Lawrence. Donations in lieu of flowers to a charity of one’s choice.
