Catherine "Kay" (Napoli) Abate, 90, of Derry, NH, formerly of Londonderry, NH died Sunday, December 19, 2010 in Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry. Her family was the center of her life.
Beloved daughter of the late Vito and Maria (Butera) Napoli. Loving wife of the late Paul Abate Sr. Devoted mother of Paul and his wife Paula of NH, Joe and his wife Sue of FL, Victor and his wife Marilyn of MA. Beloved grandmother of Mark, Scott, Matt and Michael. Great grandmother of four. Loving sister of Nora Fiore of MA.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday December 22nd from 9:00 - 10:30am at the Peabody Funeral Home, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Avenue, Derry. The burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, 8 Peabody Road, Derry, NH 03038.
