Obituary

Annabelle M. (Ploof) Fitzpatrick, 79, a resident of Medway for 60 years, died Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the loving wife of Charles L. Fitzpatrick who died in 1995.

Born in Richford, Vermont on January 8, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Nellie (Tetreault) Ploof.

Annabelle graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Milford and worked at Kendall Mills in Walpole and Medfield State Hospital for many years until her retirement.

She liked to be outdoors and could often be found walking the trails in the town park listening to Josh Groban. She loved fishing, hunting with her sons and sitting by a warm fire. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting, and going to the movies. And don’t ever interrupt her when the PATS are playing!

She leaves nine children, Dale Baker of Plymouth, Charles, Jr. of Troy, ME, Susan Strittmatter of Franklin, Nancy Fitzpatrick Jones of Sandwich, Roy Fitzpatrick of Franklin, Doris DiMillio of Pomfret, CT, Carol Arnold of Northbridge, Gary Fitzpatrick of Sterling, CT and David Fitzpatrick of Wrentham as well as twenty grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, four step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.

There will be no public Funeral services. The family wishes to celebrate her life in private.
