TAUNTON – Anita C. (Menard) Warchal, wife of the late Stanley Warchal, died at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro on Dec. 17, 2010.
She was 91.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Georgianna (LePage) Warchal.
A lifelong Taunton resident, Mrs. Warchal was employed by the former Robertson Curtain Factory for over twenty-three years, before retiring in 1967.
A communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church, she enjoyed sewing, gardening and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Silva of Norton; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Robert S. Warchal and Frances A. Souza, and the sister of the late William, Roger and Louise Menard, Lorraine Tigano, Blanche Edman, Alice Garceau, Lucy Murphy and Beatrice Cardose.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway at St. Mary’s Square, Taunton on Tuesday, Dec. 21st at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
