Marlon Wayne Weaver, 47, of Live Oak, Florida died Monday, December 13, 2010 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, December 17, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla with the Rev. Wayne McCrimmon and Elder Otis McGee officiating. Interment will follow in Ocilla Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7-9 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Weaver was born October 20, 1963 in Irwin County to Wayne C. and Linda Dixon Weaver. He had lived in Florida for the last 15 years and was a 1981 graduate of Irwin Academy. Mr. Weaver was the former owner & operator of the Record Fitz in Fitzgerald, was a D.J. known as “Marvelous Marlon” and was former manager of Weaver Milling Company. Currently he was employed with Furst McNess Company and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Harden Weaver of Lake City, FL, his parents Wayne C. and Linda D. Weaver of Ocilla, a son; Jeremie (Caylyn) Wade of Lake City, FL, a brother: Stacy (Nikki) Weaver, two sisters: Mandy Denney and Jennifer (Jason) Fuqua all of Ocilla, 2 grand children and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Benjamin Wayne Weaver.
