White, Ronald – of Woburn, December 23, devoted father of Wendi Whitcomb of Lynn and Mark D. White of NY. Loving grand father “Bumpa” of Michelle, Keri, Allison, Erik and Kati. Dear friend of Marie Lizotte of Winchester. Funeral from the McLaughlin – Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn on Saturday, December 27, at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church 280 Main St. Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting Hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers expression of sympathy be sent in Ronald’s memory to the St. Charles Church Restoration Fund 280 Main St. Woburn, MA 01801.

Ronald White, passed away Tuesday, December 23, at the Aberjona Nursing Home in Winchester, following a brief illness. He was seventy-two years old.

Born in Woburn, he was the son of the late Florence M. (Dulong) and Wilfred White. He graduated from Woburn High School and Northeastern University and was a lifelong Woburn resident.

After he received his college degree he worked for Boston Edison as a sales engineer for over thirty-five years retiring in 1985. He was dedicated to raising and educating his family, he enjoyed life and especially being with his grand children. He was a sports enthusits often attending ball games and hockey games, He enjoyed singing, gardening, boating, pratical jokes and working on his computer and most of all the Boston Pops and going to Tangle wood.

Ronald maintained active memberships in the Woburn Lodge of Elks and the Edison retiree association.

Surviving are his daughter Wendi Whitcomb of Lynn and his son Mark D. White of NY. Aslo his loving grandchildren who affectionatley called him “Bumpa” Michelle, Keri, Allison, Erik and Kati. And his Dear friend Marie Lizzotte of Winchester.

His funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, on Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St. Woburn at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.

Visiting Hours at the funeral home on Friday, Decemebr 26, from 4 thru 8.
