Mary Beth Fleming, 54, of Salisbury Beach passed away peacefully surrounded by love and her family at the Lawrence General Hospital, today, December 13th, 2010.
She was born on September 20th, 1956 in Lawrence, daughter to the late Eugene L. and Margaret C. (Flanagan) Fleming. Mary Beth was educated in Saint Rita's Grammar School and was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School. She was also a graduate of Fitchburg State and Lesley University in Boston, MA.
Mary Beth was a parishioner of Saint Monica's Church in Methuen, Massachusetts and of the Star of the Sea in Salisbury. She taught at Saint Margaret's School in Lowell, MA. and Special Needs Groups in Lawrence, MA., Andover, MA. and Pittsburg, PA. She was very involved in the Organiztion of the various events for Special Olympics. She had a great love for animals, enjoyed Arts and Crafts, loved to Travel and especially loved her family.
Her family members include: David (Bob) Fleming and his wife Mary of Methuen, MA. Edward (Ted) Fleming and his wife Ethel of Londonderry, NH, Catherine Fleming, SND of Danvers, MA, Margaret (Magee) Murphy and her husband Paul of Danvers, MA, Loretta (Lori) Fleming, SND of Lowell, MA, Rita-Gene Landers and her husband Bill of Ocala, FL, Michel Phaneuf and her husband Marc of Hudson, NH, Christine Lees and her husband Bob of Londonderry, NH She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 16th, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Monica's Church in Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA.
