Catherine F. “Kay” (Muldoon) Fadden, 81 years old, widow of the late Russell G. Fadden who died in 1979, died peacefully Sunday evening at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell.
Born in Lowell on February 12, 1929, she was a daughter of the late James and Nora (Lynch) Muldoon and was educated in the Lowell schools.
For over twenty years Mrs. Fadden worked as an inspector for Raytheon in Andover. She retired in 1991. Prior to that she was employed by Honeywell in Lowell for many years. Together, Catherine and Russell raised their family of four girls in Dracut where she resided from 1961 until 2006. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and in her younger years she spent many summer weekends in Maine with her sisters.
She is survived by her four daughters, Noreen Dows and her husband Gregory of Cloudcroft, New Mexico, Ann Marie Flynn and her husband Michael of Dracut, Patricia Bulloch of Davenport, Florida and Diane Fadden and Richard Schiripo of Dracut; six grandchildren, Mary Jane Flynn and her husband James Jozokos, Patrick Flynn, Christopher Dows, Katie Dows, Joshua Bulloch and Ashley Bulloch, six great- grandchildren; two sisters, Viola McCarthy and Mary A. Muldoon both of Lowell, many nieces and nephews and many dear friends at D’Youville Senior Care.
Mrs. Fadden was also the Mother in Law of the late Mark Bulloch, Sister of the late John J. Muldoon and Aunt of the late James, Edward and Patrick McCarthy.
FADDEN- Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, December 15, from 3 until 7 pm at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 NESMITH ST. (Rte.38). Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 16, at 10 am at the Immaculate Conception Church, (Lower Church), followed by Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery.
