Paul F. Erickson, 58, of Dartmouth died Sunday December 12, 2010 at home surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Donna L. Hebert.
Born in Norwood, the son of the late Gunnar and Edna (Faber) Erickson, he lived in Dartmouth for most of his life.
Mr. Erickson was a self-employed furniture maker and also worked for Kay Jewelers for many years.
An avid golfer, he was a former member of the Allendale Country Club. He was a talented musician who played with "The Bedfords" years ago. He had also played the trombone with the Boston Pops Orchestra.
Survivors include his wife; his son, Christopher Hebert and his wife Lynne of Fairhaven; a brother, Alan Erickson and his wife Nancy of Chesapeake, VA; a granddaughter, Rowan Hebert; his brother-in-law, Wayne Whalley and his wife Patricia of Dartmouth; and two nieces and two nephews.
His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 7 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 PM prior to the service.
